God’s Mobile Worship Center

Cru summer mission trips help develop the next generation of Christian leaders.

The mission trip begins with Cru staff leading every aspect.  However, midway through the trip, leadership passes to the students. Now they lead the Bible studies, outreaches and social activities.

Nate spoke to the students as this leadership transition took place. Here is a brief summary:

In Exodus 35 and 36, after the people of Israel left Egypt, God designed the first mobile worship center—a dwelling place for Himself known as the Tabernacle. But how could the people construct something worthy of the God who saved them from slavery?

God provides two men with the skills necessary to construct the Tabernacle. He reveals the men to Moses and they choose how they will respond to God’s invitation to participate.

God is building a new mobile worship center today—it’s us!

“In Him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.” (Eph. 2:22)

Each student on the mission trip is choosing to use their gifts to build a new mobile worship center worthy of the God who saved them from slavery to sin.

What a privilege that God gifts each of us to build a new mobile worship center worthy of Him!
