Nate’s team helps Cru Military with their finances.
In 2017, Cru Military began reaching out to Air Force students at Fort Sam Houston participating in training to be medical technicians, nurses and operations technicians.
This is the first phase of training for the 1,000 students assigned to the Medical Wing after leaving basic training. They are in school from 2 to 9 months depending on their career.
The training is stressful. Physical training begins at 5 in the morning. Students then have eight hours of classroom lessons and a heavy load of homework at night.
In spite of the demands of medical training and military life, many medical students are attending Bible study on Thursday evenings.
For one hour they dive into the Bible. This fuels them with God’s promises, God’s love, and God’s peace, so they continue on the path God calls them to. They are learning what Jesus says in John, “…apart from me you can do nothing.”
“This study reminds me that God loves me and that He is always with me,” affirms Misael.
On Sunday mornings, about 50 students from the Air Force, Army and Navy gather for small groups.
Nathaniel has learned, “There is a way out from under my sin. I don’t have to be afraid to talk about Jesus.”
At the end of April two young military women surrendered their lives to Jesus!
Your partnership is changing lives as Nate’s team meets the financial needs of Cru Military. Thank you!
