Quarantined, unable to freely gather with friends, an increasing number of people in the Middle East have been seeking spiritual truth online. Josh McDowell Ministries, a ministry of Cru, partners with over 400 co-laborers across the Muslim world. In the midst of quarantines in every country these co-laborers are working 24/7 to keep up with an amazing demand for truth.

This year Ramadan ran from April 23 to May 23. Quarantines meant millions of Muslims were unable to attend mosques or participate in nightly feasts with family and friends after fasting during the day.

While their families slept, many Muslims secretly reached out online to connect with Arab Christians. They were able to download resources created over the years by Josh McDowell.

An Arab Christian leader in the Middle East recently said, “I have never seen this number of people praying to receive Christ online. It’s amazing!”

Instead of preventing the spread of the gospel, quarantines may very well be accelerating it!
